Intervention focused on the children's social interaction with an adult. The effects of intervention were evaluated using a multiple baseline design across participants. Results Seven intervention studies met the inclusion criteria. Interventions comprised the Hanen Parent Program, Responsive Education/Prelinguistic Milieu Teaching, and Enhanced Milieu Teaching.
